Ambati Rayudu (born on 23 September 1985) is a professional Indian cricketer. He played for Hyderabad Team in the domestic cricket.


Rayudu finished his schooling from Bhavan’s Sri Ramakrishna Vidyalaya, Sainikpuri, Hyderabad. He is a part of IPL (Indian Premier League) Chennai Super Kings team.

In 2002, Rayudu was 16 years old and played his first-class career with Hyderabad. He supervised the Indian team ICC under 19 cricket world cup in 2004 and expected to enter into the senior Indian cricket team.

In 2012, Rayudu named was added in Indian cricket squad, but he debuted his first international ODI in July 2013, against Zimbabwe cricket team.

On 14 February 2009, Rayudu married a college friend and lover named Chennupalli Vidya.

Popular online cricket websites ESPN, Cricinfo wrote about him, that a 17-year-old boy Rayudu is a big hope for the Indian middle-order batting line.
