She started her professional acting journey with the mentorship of theatre director Barry John. Jacqueline debuted as an actress in the film Aladin opposite Riteish Deshmukh in the lead role.
She received Miss Sri Lanka Universe pageant in 2006. Jacqueline Fernandez worked hard to become a Bollywood actress. She acted in the movie Murder 2 (2011), a psychological thriller and also her first commercial success. After this, she achieved great success for the films Housefull 2 and Race 2.
